SaveMargin service terms

SaveMargin is provided by Tanglewild Labs LLC. It helps your business record extra work, review its scope and price, keep customer responses and remember what needs to be added to an invoice.

Plans and your trial

Solo is $19 USD per month for one person. Crew is $39 USD per month for one owner and up to four crew members. Unlimited Crew is $79 USD per month for one owner and unlimited crew members within one business. These are monthly plans with no annual commitment.

Your workspace starts with a 14-day trial. No card is required to start, and the trial does not automatically charge you. Trying the sample workspace does not start a trial or subscription.

Starting without a plan selection gives you a Crew trial for one owner and up to four crew members. You can work alone and choose a paid plan later. An existing plan-specific signup link retains the trial capacity shown for that plan.

To subscribe, the owner separately chooses monthly billing and confirms payment details with Stripe. Checkout shows the plan, amount and first billing date before confirmation. If you subscribe during your trial, the existing trial end date is preserved. A paid subscription renews monthly until cancelled.

Prices are in US dollars and exclude applicable sales tax. Any applicable tax and the final total are shown before you confirm payment.

Your workspace shows how much time remains in your trial and provides a link to continue with SaveMargin. If you have not arranged a subscription, we send a trial-ending reminder around three days before your trial ends, another around one day before, and one when it ends. Each shows your plan, trial-end date and a link to arrange your subscription. Once a subscription is arranged, these prompts stop. Adding payment details early preserves the rest of your free trial.

After you subscribe, your workspace shows your current plan and the next billing date when confirmed. Use Manage billing to check payment details or cancel the next renewal.

Cancelling and keeping your records

Open Workspace → Billing → Manage billing to cancel the next renewal. Your paid access continues to the end of the paid period. Cancelling does not delete your records.

When trial or paid access ends, you can still view and download retained records. Creating new work and daily email summaries pause. Customer approval links that were already shared can still receive a response while the link remains valid. If a renewal payment fails, you have seven days to resolve it before the same restrictions apply.

Cancellation stops future renewal; it does not automatically refund earlier payments. We review billing errors and exceptional refund requests individually. There is no additional automatic refund window. This does not limit any rights that applicable law requires.

Crew records and customer responses

Crew members can record an extra. The owner reviews the original scope, added work and price before sharing an approval link. The owner can also record an approval received verbally or by text, with its date, channel and a note. That is labelled “Approval recorded by owner,” separately from a response entered through the customer link.

Customers do not need an account to respond to a shared link. Anyone holding a valid link can open the information it contains and enter a response, so share it only with the intended customer. Links expire after seven days, can be revoked and stop authorizing an earlier version when the work or price changes.

A link response records what its holder entered about the displayed version. It does not independently verify the person's identity or authority, guarantee payment, or replace contracts, signatures or notices required for the work. Your business remains responsible for checking the record and arranging lawful, safe work.

Your invoices and reminders

SaveMargin does not issue or send your job invoice or collect the customer's payment. Marking an extra as added to an invoice records your action; it does not mean the customer has paid. The amounts shown are extra charges, not calculated profit.

The owner can turn on a daily reminder, delivered by email to their verified SaveMargin sign-in address, and choose a delivery time and time zone. Change the time or turn daily reminders off in Daily reminders. Delivery is not guaranteed at an exact minute. Creating or copying a customer link does not send it automatically. Copy link copies the address. Email link opens the owner’s email app with a prepared subject and message, leaving the recipient for the owner to enter. Text/share opens the device’s supported messaging or sharing options. The owner checks the recipient and sends the message through their usual service. The same sharing choices apply to crew invitations.
